The MMB Scholarship, created to honor Melissa's legacy, and support students in the tri-state area who have experienced loss or have a parent or guardian touched by cancer.

Eligibility

  • Those who have lost or had a parent/guardian touched by cancer.

  • High School Seniors in the Tri-State Area

  • GPA will not disqualify anyone from consideration - We recognize that loss of a parent or cancer can impact the whole family, and academic performance is not always a reflection of a student's potential during difficult times.

Application Timeline

  • Opens:  October 1, 2025

  • Deadline:  February 1, 2025

  • Award Announcement:  March 15, 2025

How to Apply

  • Apply here at MMB through the link below.

  • Complete the application form, write a personal essay on how cancer has affected your life and include any letters of recommendations you would.

  • Once complete, submit your form prior to the first of February and look for a for your confirmation email to follow.
